Gervais wins PLGC club title

First a NJCAA National title and now a club championship at his home course.

Fergus Falls’ Lucas Gervais captured the Pebble Lake Golf Course’s 2012 club championship shooting a 182.

The course played hard and fast with the pins being really tight.

Gervais was able to win the championship outright, just edging out his coach at M State, Aaron Sletten, by one stroke.

Brian Shuck rounded out the top three in the flight finishing with a 185.

Brad Christenson took top honors in the Pebble Lake flight shooting a 159, followed by John Hatling (161) and John Gillund (163).

In the net flight, B.K. Leitch finished in first with a 137, while Lynn Schultz won the senior flight with a 153.

In the ladies flight, Angie Christison (162) won the gross, Sharon Boldenow (143) won the net and Sue Schatz (181) won the senior division.

In the junior flight, Andrew MacFarlane won with a 172, while the Chris Swenson won the junior club championship with a 189.
