LRHC welcomes new psychiatrist [UPDATED]

Lake Region Healthcare welcomes David Mach to their team of healthcare professionals. Mach will see patients in Lake Region’s Clinic Services and in the Bridgeway Care Unit in August. Mach previously worked for the Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center, Rochester. In addition he worked at Prairie St. John’s in Fargo and Prairie Care in Woodbury.

Raised in Minneapolis. Mach obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Biology at the University of Minnesota – Duluth. After 14 years of working for the Department of Natural Resources in Fisheries Biology and Information Technology, Mach chose to switch professions and went on to earn his medical degree (D.O.) at Des Moines University, Des Moines, Iowa. His residency was completed at Hennepin-Regions Psychiatry Training Program in Minneapolis.

Mach is a member of the American Psychiatric Association.

Mach and his wife have four children. His personal interests include wildlife landscaping, carpentry, hunting, spirituality, and philosophy.
