State Bank and Trust purchases Breckenridge bank building [UPDATED]

State Bank and Trust has entered into a contract to purchase a Breckenridge building currently occupied by RiverWood Bank. RiverWood plans to close its bank location, located at 214 Fifth Street North in Breckenridge. State Bank and Trust will purchase the building and open a new bank location there in mid-November, upon regulatory approval.

State Bank and Trust is located at 209 Dakota Avenue in Wahpeton, and construction is underway on a new, 6,000-square-foot bank at 717 Second Avenue North in Wahpeton.

State Bank and Trust in Wahpeton was recently voted “Best of the Valley” for Best Place to Work and Bank with the friendliest tellers by readers of the Wahpeton Daily News.
