Parents are Loren and Debbie Thormodson of Dalton, and John and Sherry Isley of Nemo, S.D.
Karla is a graduate of Ashby High School, Fergus Falls Community College and the University of Minnesota, Crookston. She is the director of contract administration at Noridian Administrative Services, LLC in Fargo.
Michael is a graduate of West Fargo High School and North Dakota State University. He is a Software Design Engineer at Microsoft in Fargo.
An Oct. 13, 2012, wedding is planned at the Avalon Events Center in Fargo.
