Eric Andrew Hyshaw, 27, of Minneapolis, was charged last week in Otter Tail County court with third degree narcotic sale, a felony.

As previously reported by The Journal, Hyshaw is accused of possessing a bag of cocaine, which police allegedly saw when they responded to an Aug. 11 call of unwanted men at a home of the 600 block of Oak Street.

Court records state that when Hyshaw saw police, he threw the bag into a bush. Police later recovered the bag, which allegedly contained 12 individual smaller bags of about 1 cubic inch that contained cocaine.
