Man arrested for disorderly conduct [UPDATED]

A 59-year-old Fergus Falls man was arrested on the 600 block of East Adolphus Avenue after engaging in verbal confrontations with others around 8 p.m.

Police responded after receiving a report of a man trying to pick fights. Upon arrival, they found John Paul McCarthy Jr., who allegedly was yelling at people and participating in disorderly behavior. He was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction of the legal process.
