M State’s art exhibit season opens [UPDATED]

The M State Art Department has released a preliminary listing of art shows for the 2012-2013 school year. All exhibitions will be on view in the Beck Gallery of Legacy Hall on the M State campus.

Public receptions for the artists involved will be scheduled this year for Sunday afternoons when there will be opportunity to meet many of the artists.

• Selected Oil Paintings by John Cox (newly appointed Art Instructor at M State) are on display through Sept. 16

A public reception is planned from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16

• Exhibit of Ceramic Work by Robert “Boomer” Moore (M State alumnus and Professor of Art, University of West Virginia), will be on exhibit from Sept. 20 – Oct. 26; A workshop and reception is planned Sept. 21 and 22.
