FF man jailed after ramming car

A Fergus Falls man was taken to jail Thursday after he allegedly used his car to ram another occupied vehicle at Pebble Lake Beach.milligrams

According to police, Christopher Blase Smith and a woman were having a fight at the beach about relationship issues shortly before 11 p.m. The two ended up tussling over some keys but left in separate vehicles. However, as they were leaving, Smith allegedly ran into the woman’s car three times while she was inside.

The woman was unhurt. Smith drove off but was later stopped while driving on the 200 block of West Lincoln Avenue. He was allegedly found to be intoxicated, and he was arrested for second degree assault, DWI and domestic assault.
