PR Vikings bounce Comets in three sets

PELICAN RAPIDS — The Pelican Rapids Vikings picked up their second win of the year as they defeated the Hillcrest Comets in three sets (25-14, 25-18, 25-9).

“We made several mistakes at the net and on the serving line,” Vikings coach Heidi Isaman. “When we had a chance to hit the ball, we hit quite well.”

The Vikings will now host the their own invitational tournament Sept. 8, while the Comets will look to get their first win against the Parkers Prairie Panthers Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
