The sanitary sewer improvements in Ashby are right on schedule.

Phase one of the project is nearing completion, and work will continue on County Road 4 for another week or two.

Phase two began Aug. 27, and this project will take place in the alley between Iverson and Melby streets. Moving south to north, the work will take four to six weeks to complete.

The third and final phase of the project will begin in October and end around the middle of November, the Ashby Dalton Post reported.
