Crops looking good in West Central area

After recent rain broke the dry streak, the crop outlook in the West Central Area has taken a turn for the better.

“The rains changed what was looking like a pretty good year for crops into, potentially, a great year,” the Grant County Herald reported.

Grant County saw the opposite situation last year. Many fields weren’t able to be planted due to excessive spring rain.
