ATV accident puts boy in hospital [UPDATED]

A Grand Forks, N.D., boy received a severe laceration to the side of his face when his father was giving his two juvenile sons a ride on his ATV near Perham. While driving up a hill, the ATV rolled over backwards onto all three riders. He was flown to North Memorial Air Care to Sanford Hospital in Fargo.

His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The other occupants suffered minor injuries. None of the riders, all from Grand Forks, were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
