In one of the biggest tournaments of the summer, Brian Shuck and John Hatling laid claim to the Pebble Lake Golf Course’s Pot O’Gold championship Monday.

Shuck and Hatling were leading Ben Jurgens and Lynn Schultz going into the 17th hole.

With ice in their veins and a sense of urgency, Shuck and Hatling were able to take the 17th hole to claim victory.

“It feels great to win the Pot O’Gold for the fourth time,” Shuck said. “It seems to get more fun everytime I play in the tournament.”

This was the first time that the two teamed up on the course, but both excel individually at Pebble Lake.

“This was a long and grueling tournament. It is kind of an endurance test for the many who play in it,” Shuck added.

In the consolation bracket, Nick Kuehl and Travis Johnson were able to edge Jason Anderson and Joel Myhre for the win.

In the Labor Day Classic, teammates Ted Burrington and Travis Martinson took home the title after defeating the team of Scott Schauff and Dave Siems after the 16th hole.

Mike Alt and Leon Jensen claimed the consolation title in the Labor Day Classic.
