ASHBY — The Ashby Arrows picked up a four set win over a very tall West Central Area Knights team (25-17, 20-25, 15-25, 15-25).

“This was a long hot match,” Arrows coach Brenda Johnson said. “The girls worked hard and did things tonight that would make a coach smile and cheer. We are young and still getting that team chemistry together.”

Ashby’s Meg Roley and Madison VanSaten each had five kills in the match, while teammate Amber Sundahl led with 10 digs in the win.

The Arrows will host the Hillcrest Comets Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
