Spartan volleyball players named POTW

Three Spartan volleyball players received player of the week honors in the Minnesota College Athletic Conference Southern Division.

Kaitlyn Timian was named hitter of the week after recording 29 kills.

Gretchen Freed’s 45 digs over the past week was able to net her libero of the week.

The Spartans also saw Christine Moenkedick win all-around player of the week after posting 24 kills, 45 digs and a 96 percent serving ratio.

The Spartans finished last week with a 2-1 record.
