Hydrologist talks water at Underwood church [UPDATED]

Members of the Unitarian Universalist Church in Underwood invited everyone to join them at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, for a discussion by Janell Miersch about the core functions of being a DNR hydrologist and the challenges we face with multiple demands on fresh water.

She will explore water use in Minnesota and how current laws and the Clean Water Act attempt to control it.

The church will also begin its fall and winter hours Sunday, with the service starting at 10:30 a.m. Adult RE is the first Sunday of the month at 9:15 a.m.
