KAR Kids donate to Cancer Center [UPDATED]

Isaac Oliphant delivered a check to the Cancer Center recently for $132.50 on behalf of the K.A.R. Team (the sixth grade classes of Mrs. Kangas, Mrs. Athens, and Mr. Ratz in Fergus Falls). The students had a gumball machine in the classroom during the school year and on Fridays kids could buy gumballs.

Isaac suggested the money be donated to the Lake Region Healthcare Cancer Care and Research Center after he had an aunt die from breast cancer last year.

The money will be used to help provide amenities to patients at the cancer center during their treatments.
