Spartans dodge Rams

The M State Spartan volleyball team continued their hot streak Wednesday night at the M State – Fergus Falls campus as they swept the Anoka-Ramsey Rams in three sets (25-12, 25-20, 25-18).

The Spartans came into the game focused as they were able to rack up 12 service aces and were 93 percent from the service line.

Morgan Kapphahn and Gretchen Freed led the Spartan defense as they recorded 14 and 12 digs, respectively.

Christine Moenkedick was a force to be reckoned with on offense as she slammed in 11 kills in the victory.

M State will now prepare for the Rochester Community College Invitational Tournament Saturday at 12 p.m.
