Two horses killed in vehicle accident near Dalton

Two horses were killed in a vehicle collision near Dalton at around 4:50 a.m. today.

Three horses were allegedly walking on County Hwy. 82 near Dalton when a semi truck collided with two of them. A car behind the semi also struck one of the horses.

The owner of the horses is covering the damage to the vehicles. No injuries to the drivers were reported.
