Bowman, Luther College pick up wins

DECORAH, Iowa – Sarah Bowman, a 2012 graduate of Fergus Falls, is a member of the 2012-13 Luther College tennis team, saw the Norse pick up wins against 7-2 victory over Division II Upper Iowa University, followed by a 9-0 win over UW-River Falls on Sept. 1.

Head Coach Adam Strand begins his second season at the helm of the program. Last season, Strand led the Norse to an overall record of 18-12 and one match shy of qualifying for the NCAA III National Tournament. He returns four of his top six players from a year ago.

Bowman is the daughter of Jean and Dennis Bowman of Fergus Falls, Minn.
