UNDERWOOD – The hometown Rocket volleyball team was able to pick up a three set victory over Little Eight Conference foe Brandon-Evansville Thursday evening 25-17, 25-10 and 25-10.

“Our attack efficiency has continued to improve as a team,” Rockets coach Diane Ross said. “We had all of our hitters in the positive column and hit .300 as a team.”

Rocket’s Kaitlyn Holen was a threat on offense as she recorded 10 kills, while the Chargers’ Megan Friedrich led with five.

“Tonight we ran into a very strong Underwood squad who is solid in each rotation, and is well coached,” Charger coach Kelly Olson commented. “Our inconsistent serve receive and struggles serving our own balls showed up on the scoreboard.”

The Rockets will look to remain unbeaten as they travel to Ada to take part in their tournament Saturday at 10 a.m., while the Chargers will look to rebound as they travel to Browerville Saturday for a 9 a.m. tournament
