Deb Adkins has joined PioneerLink to serve as the organization’s client services specialist.

In her role, Adkins serves as the primary resource person for those who use PioneerLink’s personal alert systems, home monitor systems and MedSmart home medication management systems. She also provides free home installation in the Fergus Falls area and coordinates the work of PioneerLink installers who serve the Breckenridge-Wahpeton, Fargo-Moorhead, Morris, Perham and Sauk Centre areas.

Prior to joining PioneerLink, Adkins worked for the Fergus Falls Daily Journal as the advertising administrator. Prior to her work there, Adkins was the store manager for Expressions Shoe Center in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, a company specializing in retail sales and proper fitting of diabetic footwear. Her duties there involved all aspects of operations including management of staff, marketing and customer service, billing to Medicare and insurance companies, and education for area healthcare providers.

“In many ways, Deb’s experience runs parallel to what we are doing with PioneerLink,” says Karen Wulfekuhle, PioneerCare’s director of home and community based services. “In Pequot Lakes, she recognized a need and set a high standard, bringing customer service directly into people’s homes. That is exactly what we have done with PioneerLink.”

Adkins earned her associates degree from North Dakota State College of Science, specializing in graphic arts technology and web design. She and her family reside in Fergus Falls.
