Hofland [UPDATED]
Published 9:45am Monday, September 10, 2012 Updated 11:50am Monday, September 10, 2012Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Joseph J. Hofland graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Hofland is the son of James Hofland of County Highway 67, New York Mills.
He is a 2006 graduate of New York Mills District 553 High School.
