Abbigail Aleis Leine and Aaron Michael Malmgren announce their engagement.

Leine — Malmgren

Parents are Keith Leine (Michelle Emery) of Underwood, Shannon Kugler (the late Martin Godfrey) of Fergus Falls, and Dean and Lisa Malmgren of Alexandria.

Abbigail is a graduate of Ashby High School and Ridgewater College of Willmar. She is an owner/photographer of Studio Aleis.

Aaron is a graduate of Jefferson High School and attended Ridgewater College in Willmar He is employed with Halliburton Energy Services in Burns Flat, Okla., as an operator in cement services.

An Oct. 6, 2012 wedding is planned at Detroit Lakes City Park.
