Wenstrom joins LRH board of trustees [UPDATED]

Lake Region Healthcare is pleased to welcome Gene Wenstrom to the organization’s Board of Trustees. Wenstrom has been selected to fill the vacancy left after long-time trustee, Bill Colbeck, passed away last fall.

Wenstrom is a graduate of Fergus Falls High School and Fergus Falls Community College as well as Moorhead State University.

He served as Minnesota District 11A State Representative from 1974 to 1978 and taught in the Elbow Lake Public Schools prior to his legislative term. Wenstrom is a business owner, a member of United Lutheran Church and Chairman of the Prairie Ridge Hospital Board. He and his wife, Jackie, have four children.
