A 37-year-old Fergus Falls woman was arrested Friday afternoon after she allegedly punched, kicked, and tried to bite a police officer during a call to a trailer home on the 1600 block of County Highway 111.

Police were called to the home around 3:20 p.m. after a person complained that Michelle Lea Stattelman was drunkenly throwing and breaking things. When an officer arrived to get information, Stattelman allegedly punched him in the leg. She was placed under arrest, but she allegedly struggled as handcuffs were being put on her, kicking at and trying to bite law enforcement.

She was taken into custody for fourth degree assault of a peace officer and obstructing the legal process.
