Battlers declaw Tigers in LEC battle

BATTLE LAKE — The Battlers were able to recover from an early set loss to take a four set win over the Rothsay Tigers Tuesday (19-25, 27-25, 25-17, 26-24).

Carly VanWatermulen was perfect from the service line going 22 of 22 and contributing 13 digs in the win.

The Battlers will now travel to take on Hillcrest Thursday at 7:30 p.m., while the Tigers look to get back into the win column as they travel to take on Brandon-Evansville Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
