Car break-ins reported [UPDATED]

Fergus Falls residents reported two instances of thefts from cars Tuesday afternoon and early Wednesday morning.Eddie

The first theft was reported around 5:20 p.m. from an SUV parked in the back yard of 920 West Lincoln Ave.

A brown purse and about $200 in cash was taken from the unlocked vehicle.

Around 1:20 a.m. today, police received word that two unlocked vehicles on the 500 block of West Summit Avenue had been rummaged through, with a multi-colored, Native American-themed backpack stolen from one of them.

There are no suspects in either case.

At this time, nothing has been found that connects the incidents.
