UNDERWOOD — The Henning Hornets traveled west on Hwy 210 for a non-conference matchup against the Rockets.

After the dust cleared, the Underwood was able to hand the Hornets a three set loss and their first of the season 25-18, 25-14, 25-21.

“It was nice to get back on the winning track against a tough team like Henning,” Rockets coach Diane Ross said. “They pass the ball extremely well and have some very aggressive hitters.”

The Rockets’ Tara Skauge prevented key points for Henning as she recorded 15 digs in the match, while Brianna Fitzgibbons 33 set assists help set up kill leader Carly Masoloski (17) in the win.

The Rockets look to keep the momentum their way as they travel to take on Parkers Prairie Thursday at 7:30 p.m., while Henning will look to get back on track Thursday as they host the New York Mills Eagles at 7:30 p.m.
