Stories from State Hospital tour [UPDATED]

The season’s final Stories from the State Hospital tour takes place at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21.

This tour is a wonderful compliment to the Friends of the Kirkbride regular Friday afternoon facilities tour. Stories from the State Hospital takes people around the outside of the facility while providing a behind the scenes look at some of the legendary stories and events that took place over the hospital’s 117 year history.

The cost for the tour is $5. Park in the Government Services parking lot and proceed over the westernmost section of the building. Be aware that some of the content is not suitable for younger audiences.
