PELICAN RAPIDS — The Viking volleyball team was able to pick up a four set win over the visiting Detroit Lakes Lakers (25-21, 25-17, 16-25, 25-21) Tuesday night.

“This was a very fun, back and forth match filled with excitement and big defensive plays,” Viking coach Heidi Isaman. “Last year, we lost in five to DL and it was very rewarding that their hard work helped them come out on top tonight.”

Alyssa Huesby had a good night from the service line as she recorded six aces in the match, while teammate Lizzie Pfeifle dug out 12 balls in the win.

The Vikings look to remain undefeated as they travel to Breckenridge for a 7 p.m. matchup.
