Cash stolen from wallet in OTC [UPDATED]

A man reported $40 missing from his wallet around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday after he allowed a woman to enter his house and use his phone and bathroom.

The woman claimed her car was stalled on the road and she needed to make a call and use the rest room. After she left on foot, the man found that $40 was missing from his wallet.

The woman was described as heavy set and in her 20s, wearing dark slacks and a light blouse. The sheriff’s office has not released the location of the theft.
