Projectile hits Douglas Ave. roof [UPDATED]

A man reported hearing gun shots and a projectile hitting his roof in Fergus Falls at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday.

The shots were reported from the dead end of W. Douglas Ave. on the south side of town. Police contacted a juvenile who admitted he was shooting with two friends.

The boys appeared to be target shooting and did not intend to fire at the house, police reported. The case is under investigation.
