Chloe Evans, five-month-old daughter of Aaron and Laca Evans died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, in her parents’ arms at the University of Minnesota Amplatz Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis.

Chloe was born April 9, 2012 to Aaron and Laca (Hanson) Evans. She was baptized April 12. They enjoyed having her home with them for one month, otherwise time was spent with her at the hospital and the Ronald McDonald house during her short life.

Chloe always had a smile and quick response and liked her lullaby music. She stole everybody’s hearts including all the medical staff.

She is survived by her parents, Aaron and Laca Evans; a brother, Jeremy Hanson; grandparents, Vic and Laurie Zelinsky of Battle Lake, and Dan and Cindy Evans of Melbourne, Fla.; great-grandmother, Iola Nelson of Battle Lake; several aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. Chloe was preceded in death by her half brother, Jason Eugene Evans; her grandfather, Elmo Hanson; grandmother, Connie Mae Evans; and great-grandfather, Paul Nelson.

Visitation: One hour prior to the service

Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday, at First Lutheran Church, Battle Lake

Clergy: Rev. Jake Dyrhaug

Burial: First Lutheran Cemetery.

Funeral Home: Glende-Nilson Funeral Home, Battle Lake
