Fire burns more than 80 acres of land [UPDATED]

A fire grass fire burned more than 80 acres of land between Evansville and Battle Lake. The fire was reported at about 9:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Dept. along with fire departments from Ashby, Evansville and Battle Lake responded to the fire between Bluebird Road and 395th Avenue. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
