3 FF runners compete in Superior trail run

Three Fergus Falls runners endured a grueling trail run on Sept. 7-8 as they competed in the Superior trail run at Gooseberry Falls State Park.

In a 50K run, Ben Schierer finished the race in 34:22:00, while Mark Becker finished the race in 37:08:00.

In the 25K trail run, Terry Eldien ran a time of 13:43:00.

The race, which is a held over two days, sees only 40 percent of its participants finish.
