Man charged with possessing prescription drugs
Published 11:51am Wednesday, September 19, 2012A 22-year-old Fergus Falls man was charged Friday with four counts of fifth degree drug possession after a city police officer allegedly found several kinds of illicitly-obtained prescription drugs in the man’s car.
Luke Anthony Wuebker has also been charged with being a fugitive from justice, and the process of extraditing him to North Dakota has already begun. He was arrested Sept. 13 after a police officer pulled him over for allegedly speeding near the intersection of State Highway 210 and Interstate Highway 94, according to court records.
During the stop, police learned that Wuebker had an arrest warrant in North Dakota for a probation violation on delivery of heroin to a minor case. Wuebker was arrested, and his car was searched, allegedly turning up $100 in cash, various drug paraphernalia and several prescription pills Wuebker was not authorized to possess, including Clonazepam, Alprazolam and multiple kinds of Oxycontin.
Wuebker has already been convicted of drug crimes in North Dakota, and he was charged earlier this year in Otter Tail County for a separate drug offense.
