After an emotional win Monday evening, the Fergus Falls Otters were able to pick up an important Central Lakes Conference victory over St. Cloud Apollo in three sets (25-19, 25-22, 25-21) Tuesday night.

Fergus played a close game as they missed an uncharacteristic 12 serves to keep the Eagles close.

“There were times in the game that we were physically and mentally tired,” Otter coach Renee Erickson said. “We were a little step off tonight, but we were glad to get the win.”

Brianna Rasmusson had an all-around great game going 14 for 15 with five aces from the service line, 21 assists, 16 digs and seven kills.

Teammate Morgan Hensch aided in the attack as she led the Fergus players in kills with 11.

The Otters will look to bring the energy Thursday as they travel to take on the Brainerd Warriors at 7 p.m. in another CLC battle.
