Panthers dodge Arrows for 3 set win

Published 9:03am Friday, September 21, 2012

PARKERS PRAIRIE β€” Unforced errors were the downfall for the Ashby Arrows Thursday night as the hosting Parkers Prairie Panthers won in three sets (25-17, 25-22, 25-17).

β€œIt is frustrating to loose when you knew with a couple points here and there you could’ve taken the point and maybe momentum would’ve swung your way,” Arrows coach Brenda Johnson said.

Amber Sundal had a good night from the service line as she went 14 for 15 with three aces, while teammate Baily Funkhouser recorded seven kills in the match.

The Arrows will look to rebound from the loss as they travel to take on the Henning Hornets Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
