M State offers fall CNA training in Fergus Falls [UPDATED]

Individuals interested in a career as a certified nursing assistant (CNAs) have an opportunity for fall training at Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Fergus Falls.

The training is offered from 4 to 9:30 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays from Oct. 8-Nov. 6. In addition to classroom work, students will be required to complete 20 hours of clinical training.

Interested students must complete the online “Visiting Student” application at www.minnesota.edu/forms and also register for the course online at www.minnesota.edu/cna. Click on credit-based courses under the Nursing Assistant heading, and then on Fergus Falls Fall 2012 to register for HLTH 1115.

A background check is required, and students who complete the course and are hired as CNAs are eligible for reimbursement for the cost of the course.
