The mission at Someplace Safe is: to create a safer world for everyone.

Every October, time is taken to draw attention to the issues surrounding domestic violence, not only in Otter Tail County, but across our state and our nation.

Join Someplace Safe and local community members on Oct. 4, for our 25th annual Unity Walk and Vigil. Anyone interested may meet at the city parking lot near Shopko at 11:45 a.m.

From there, walkers will walk through downtown Fergus Falls as a group to raise awarness, ending at the Otter Tail Power Community Rooms for a free lunch, short program and vigil.
