Pantry hideaway fails trespasser

A 27-year-old Fergus Falls man just wasn’t lithe enough to pull off his attempt at hiding from law enforcement in a pantry Monday morning, city police reported.

According to police, the building manager of a townhouse on the 500 block of Peck Street called police Monday to report that he’d seen Titus Rowe entering one of the townhouses. The manager had earlier issued a no trespassing notice against Rowe for reasons police did not report.

When police entered the home, Rowe allegedly hid in a cupboard under a kitchen sink. However, he could not get the door fully closed, so he was found and cited for trespassing.
