Ashby 3, Hillcrest 0 [UPDATED]

The Ashby Arrows volleyball team took it to the Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets in a 3–0 sweep Tuesday night (25-12, 25-20, 25-18).

“Ashby played well together tonight,” said coach Brenda Johnson. “We are still trying new things, but tonight felt we were on the right track.”

The Arrows were led by Paige Nelson serving 17/17 with 16 points and two aces. Sami Johansen also helped in the shutout serving 12/13 with seven points. Setters Amber Sundal and Cassandra Jordan combined for 21 assists.

Thursday night the Arrows will host Brandon Evansville and the Comets will host Underwood.
