WILLMAR — In their final match of the regular season, the Fergus Falls girls tennis team fell to Willmar Tuesday, 7-0.

“We had some nice match-ups tonight,” coach Jamie Lill said. “Our second and third doubles teams both competed very well in their close matches, falling short in their respective tie-breakers. Sam played a smart match at first singles, utilizing the entire court and taking advantage of her shot-making abilities.”

The Otters received the seventh seed in the playoffs, which means they will travel to Sartell for a 10:30 a.m. start to face Alexandria, who received the second seed.
