ASHBY — The Brandon-Evansville Chargers picked up a Little Eight Conference win Thursday defeating the Ashby Arrows (25-21, 22-25, 25-10, 25-21) in four sets.

“We went into the match tonight feeling very confident with our play and coming off a win over Hillcrest,” Arrows coach Brenda Johnson said. “The Chargers have a good setter and she does a good job putting the ball in her hitters’ hands.”

Meg Roley led the Arrows with 10 kills in the game.

The Arrows and Chargers will have a rematch at 9:30 a.m. Saturday as they both travel to Bertha-Hewitt to take part in the Bears Invitational.
