A three set sweep (25-11 25-6 25-13) by the Underwood Rockets saw hosting Hillcrest Comets fall to 0-16-2 on the year in a Little Eight Conference matchup Thursday.

“It was a total team effort tonight as everyone contributed to the win,” Rocket coach Diane Ross said.

Underwood’s Tara Skauge had a great night on the court as she went 19 for 19 with seven aces from the serving line and led the Rockets with seven digs in the victory. Teammate Sam Shaw was also electric recording six aces on a 15 for 17 serving night.

The Comets will have another tough task ahead of them as they host No. 10 (Class A) Henning Hornets Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m., while the Rockets will make their last road trip to Perham for the Yellowjacket Invitational Saturday at 10 a.m.
