Eight-year-old Jordan Johnsen makes his way through five different homemade sauces during the annual Fire Station’s Spaghetti Cook-Off Monday as part of Fire Prevention Week. Slightly more than 800 showed up to get a taste of 20 different homemade spaghetti sauces. The winner of this year’s contest was The Viking Cafe. Runners-up were Primp, Applebee’s, Ye Olde Schoolhouse and Jaeger Furniture. The volunteers served up 110 pounds of pasta.
