NOTICE FOR BIDS

3,000 GALLON FIRE TANKER-PUMPER
CITY OF EVANSVILLE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the City of Evansville, Douglas County, Minnesota, in the office of the City Clerk, 106 State Street, Evansville, MN, until 11:00 a.m. October 19, 2012, at which time they will be opened and read by the City Clerk and the Fire Chief in the Chambers of the City Council, for the purchase of one (1) 2013 7400 SBA 6×4 (SF625) 6 man Crew Cab International Chassis, All-poly 3000 gallon tanker-pumper with 1000 gpm pump.

Bids shall meet the specifications on file at the office of the City Clerk at 106 State Street, Evansville, MN 56326. All bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished with the bid specifications and must state delivery date.

All bids must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cash or Bidder’s Bond for not less then ten (10%) percent of the amount of the bid, payable to the order of the City of Evansville. The bid security of the successful bidder will be retained until such bidder has executed the contract documents, furnished the required contract security and met the other conditions of the Notice of Award, whereupon the bid security will be returned.

The City reserves the right to award this bid to the lowest bidder or as is determined in the City’s opinion, to be to their best interest. The City also reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities.
