UNDERWOOD – Underwood’s Brianna Fitzgibbons celebrated her 1,000 career assist as she helped the Rockets defeat the Parker Prairie Panthers 3-1 (25-22 25-18 13-25 25-22) Tuesday evening.

“Brianna has spent a lot of time on the volleyball court in season and out of season and it was nice to see her reach this milestone,” Rocket coach Diane Ross said. “Her teammates were excited for her.”

Underwood prepared for a sweep of the visiting Panthers, but drop the third set. The Rockets turned the momentum back around in set number four to take home the win.

Carly Masloski also had a great evening for the Rockets as she finished the evening with 24 kills, 3 blocks and a 10 for 10 night at the service line.

The Rockets will be back in action Thursday as they host the ‘Dig for a Cure’ Breast Cancer Awareness event against LEC foe Ashby Arrows at 7:30 p.m. The Friends of the Foundation will be selling items with all proceeds staying local.
