Around 4 a.m., police were alerted by a witness that a woman had stolen several fire extinguishers from 1501 College Way. The witness said she had seen the woman, later identified as Melody Nickolauson, leaving the building with the extinguishers about a half hour before, but Nickolauson allegedly claimed she was using them to put out a fire in a different building.
